Service Description

I recently lost my mom, and in many ways this work grew out of that loss. One of the hardest parts of grieving, whether you’ve lost a parent, a spouse, a friend, a child, a job, a pet, a marriage, or a relationship, is the work of staying physically in your body in the midst of the world shifting around you. Maybe you recently had a miscarriage. Maybe you’ve received a scary diagnosis. Maybe you lost your job and had to move. Whatever it is, you are invited to bring your body - in whatever exhausted state it’s in - to a class. Videos are kept off. Microphones remain on mute. We hold space for one another in our shared breath. This class is capped at five participants. This is a co-ed session of breathing, grounding and tonal centering. Steph guides you through movements that incorporate humming and phonation, so that you can activate your parasympathetic nervous system and move through a stress cycle. The class includes sitting, and floor work. It can be completed sitting at a desk. Give your lungs and spine a hug!
